| From 1983 to 1990 Dr. med. Eberlein studied medicine at the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel, as well as at Boston University and Harvard Medical School in 1989. She received her postgraduate dermatological training at the Departments of Dermatoloy of the University Hospitals in Würzburg and Bochum, Germany, where she was particularly entrusted with the inpatient facial surgery. Her further education in plastic surgery consisted of several years at the Municipal Clinic Cologne, at a private clinic for esthetic-plastic surgery in Kassel, at the Dept. of Surgery of the University Hospital Würzburg and at the Centre of Severe Burn Injuries of the BG Unfallkrankenhaus in Berlin, where she established the laser treatment of burn scars. Dr. Eberlein especially focuses on breast surgery. Within the bounds of her activities at the Klinik für Plastische Chirurgie des Evangelischen Krankenhauses in Göttingen, she expanded her knowledge and experience in reconstructive breast surgery after mammary tumor surgery. In 2008, she opened her own plastic surgery clinic in Bamberg, Germany. |

Eberlein is an official member of the Deutschen Gesellschaft der Plastischen, Rekonstruktiven und Ästhetischen Chirurgen (DGPRAEC), (Association of the German Society for Plastic an Esthetic Surgery), and of the internationalen Gesellschaft für Ästhetisch-Plastische Chirurgie (ISAPS). She is also participating in the TRICARE EUROPE Preferred Provider Network (Tricare). |
